The Flipkart seller GST report: where to get it and what each sheet means

Ye guide Hinglish mein bhi hai: Flipkart GST report kaise nikale

Flipkart’s report is nothing like Meesho’s. Meesho gives you row-by-row data; Flipkart gives you GSTR-1 already laid out by section.

Where to find it

Seller Hub has a GST reports section. Pick the month and download the GST report (GSTR-1 format). There is also a Sales report, which is at transaction level.

The file has nine sheets

Each sheet maps to a section of GSTR-1.

  • Section 7(A)(2), sales within your state, CGST and SGST
  • Section 7(B)(2), sales to other states, IGST
  • Section 12, the HSN summary
  • Section 13, how many invoices were issued
  • Section 3 in GSTR-8, the TCS Flipkart deducted
  • Sections 10A and 10B, amendments to earlier months

Section 12 has no rate column

The HSN sheet has only taxable value and tax, no rate. The rate is worked out by dividing tax by taxable value. A tool showing 0 percent in its HSN summary has skipped that step.

States come as ISO codes

Flipkart gives the state name and a code, but the code is IN-GJ or IN-TR style, not the GST code 24 or 16. It has to be mapped.

Sections 10A and 10B need a person

These amend an earlier month’s return, for example when a July sale comes back in August. When they have rows, GST Didi stops and asks you to send that month to us, because an amendment is filed against the earlier period.

Meesho’s files have no equivalent.

Questions sellers ask

GST report or Sales report?

The GST report builds the return directly. The Sales report has order-level detail, which is useful for working out profit. They do different jobs.

Do Flipkart and Meesho go into one return?

Yes, one GSTIN, one return. A state and rate that appears in both is added into one row.

Now try it yourself

The tool is free. Upload your reports, Didi checks them, and you get a file ready for the GST portal.
